Dr. Goff has recently
co-authored a new test of creative thinking for Adults. Based on E. Paul
Torrance's original creative thinking test for children, this instrument is
called "Abbreviated
Torrance Test for Adults (ATTA) ".
The beauty of the ATTA is its abbreviated
format and ease of administering. It can be self-administered with no time
limit or it can be used in a timed setting, providing three minutes to
complete each task. The ATTA can be useful in providing an initial response
to people who want to determine creative strengths. It can also measure
changes in creativity through the use of pre- and post-testing. The
instrument measures the creative thinking of adults, in terms of fluency,
flexibility, originality and elaboration. Each test comes with a training and
scoring manual.Tests may be ordered from Scholastic Testing Service (STS), 480
Meyer Road, Bensenville, IL 60106-1617. Phone: 1-800-642-6STS.
